I think that the setting helps the story because if it wasn't in a summer house it wouldn't make sense. This is because, if they saw each other all year long, they wouldn't look forward to the summer. Also, they wouldn't get along to well as how they get along just seeing each other during the summer.

There are 3 major conflicts in this book. The first one is that Belly finds out that Jeremiah "cheated" on her during spring break, but they weren't officially together. Belly still gets angry because she says, that even if it was for only one night, she was thinking of a girl that wasn't her. She eventually forgives him, but is still let down about it. The second one, is that Belly's mother won't let them get married and Belly ends up moving out of her house because she really wants to marry Jere. She moves to the summer house where Conrad is living. She doesn't mind, but Jeremiah does. The third, is that Conrad, on Jermiah's bachelor party, tells Belly that he still loves her and that how can she be marrying Jere if he cheated on her. This brings doubt to Belly and doesn't know what to do because she still has feelings for Conrad but also loves Jeremiah.

In this book there is more than one theme. This themes are love, family and friendship. I think that this are the themes because Belly falls in love with Conrad, but then realizes that she also loves Jeremiah. Family and friendship are also themes of this book because they are really good friends, but look like a family. They are really close to each other (the summer kids) and will always come back together.

The title relates to the book because the summer kids will always have the house and summer to come back together. They will always come back to the summer house because they may be in different parts of the world but they will always come back together.

In "We'll Always Have Summer", Belly has her final exams of her first year in college.  She is worried at how easily promises can be broken because after the year Susana dies, the summer kids promise to go back, but they don't. She finds out what Jeremiah, her current boyfriend, did during spring break. So that she can finally forgive him, he proposes marriage to her and she accepts. When they tell both families, they don't get the reaction they expected. Belly's mom tells Belly that she can't get married because she is too young and Belly is sure she wants to get married. As a result, she has to leave her house because her mom doesn't want her to get married. A day before the wedding, Belly discovers that Conrad still loves her and is not sure if she still wants to marry Jeremiah.

The narrator of the trilogy is Belly, the main character. She speaks in first person, and we know what she is thinking. All of her flashbacks and thoughts are shown. Sometimes, in a few chapters, the author changes narrator in important parts were to understand we need to know their point of view. This is only in a few chapters and only changing to Jeremiah and Conrad.

In We´ll Always Have Summer, there are different characters than in the first book. The main characters are:

Belly (Isabelle) Conklin: Belly is the main character and narrator of the trilogy "The Summer I Turned Pretty". She is a 16 year-old girl who spends every summer at Cousins Beach with her mother, her brother, her mother´s best friend and her two sons, Conrad and Jeremiah.  Bellty is described as very pretty, but she is obvlivious to her beauty and never understands why guys pay attention to her.

Jeremiah Fisher: Jeremiah, known as Jere, is the good "golden boy" of the series. He is a year older than Belly, and one year younger than Conrad. He is the type of person that is loud and outspoken , and never afraid to say what he thinks. He has always been Belly's best friend, adn realizes that he loves her, but Belly is in love with Conrad.

Conrad Fisher:  Conrad is the oldest of the summer kids, and he is known to never show his feelings and push the ones he loves away.  He hardly ever says what he thinks and is always quiet and distant with his guitar as an only company. Even though he is always cold with everyone, he is always looking out for the people he loves and tries to make them happy, even if it means to destroy his.

Steve Conklin:  Steve is the oldest of him and Belly, her sister. He doesn't appear much, since he takes off for college, but the most he appears is in every flashback Belly has. Even though he is always making fun of Belly, he has this protective side over her. Steve always helps Belly make decisions and supports her in everything.

The book I chose to read for my semester project is called We'll Always Have Summer by Jenny Han. I choose to read this book because its the third part of my favorite book The Summer I Turned Pretty.  This is my favorite book and since its the last one, I cant wait to know what happens. I have been waiting a lot to read it. I really have set a goal to finish in very little tim and not take along time like with the other 2 books. I want to know what will happen in the end.
